WF1 – Quilter’s Dilemma is now WILD Flowers (WF)

I’ve been mulling over whether to enter the ‘How Does Your Garden Grow’ competition for a couple of weeks. So with a bit of encouragement from my fellow blogger Helen and from my Mum, I’ve decided that I’m going to give it a go.

My quilt is going to be modern style and called WILD Flowers.

I’ve picked my colour palette which is bright, cheerful and lots of fun – as you can see from the picture here.

I have to have my entry in by Wednesday 12 September which gives me 55 days to design, piece, quilt, finish and post my quilt. The fun has begun…

Off on a new sewing adventure,

About bertcollections

I began quilting, with the help of some friends, in 2005, and have been quilting ever since. In that time, I’ve completed several projects in a variety of styles and colour combinations. My approach to quilting generally doesn’t involve using a particular pattern. I tend to have a concept I want to bring to life, or find a fabric on sale somewhere that looks like it could be turned into something fun. As the photos in the 'Introductions' post show, my quilts cross a range of styles, but generally use some strong colours and shapes.
