A new quilting toy for me…

20121230-174023.jpg After trekking off to Canberra with friends yesterday I also happened to stop in and look at a second-hand quilting frame…after much ado with trailers, keys and cash I bought it and brought it home. I am now having the fun of putting it back together.

I suspect there is one piece missing so I will have to check that out but in the mean time I am as happy as a kid with a new toy.

Seems like I an not the only one with new toys. I was reading Luciethehappyquilter’s blog yesterday and she has a very fancy new toy.

Back to my mallet and cleaning cloth. 😊

About bertcollections

I began quilting, with the help of some friends, in 2005, and have been quilting ever since. In that time, I’ve completed several projects in a variety of styles and colour combinations. My approach to quilting generally doesn’t involve using a particular pattern. I tend to have a concept I want to bring to life, or find a fabric on sale somewhere that looks like it could be turned into something fun. As the photos in the 'Introductions' post show, my quilts cross a range of styles, but generally use some strong colours and shapes.
