BQ1 – A Bear-y Happy Accident

First of all, I don’t normally just sticky beak in quilting shops. I go in with something I need and come out with that…and a little more. So I was living dangerously when i did a random drop in at the local quilt shop when I was out and about last week.

Guess what? I found this great Paddington Bear panel which will be perfect for B1 whose birthday is coming up. So while I have 3 quilts I am trying to finish at the moment, I am going to try squeezing in a simple quilt for B1 amongst by busy sewing schedule in the next month.

So here’s cheers to another quilting adventure just begun.

Happy hunting.

About bertcollections

I began quilting, with the help of some friends, in 2005, and have been quilting ever since. In that time, I’ve completed several projects in a variety of styles and colour combinations. My approach to quilting generally doesn’t involve using a particular pattern. I tend to have a concept I want to bring to life, or find a fabric on sale somewhere that looks like it could be turned into something fun. As the photos in the 'Introductions' post show, my quilts cross a range of styles, but generally use some strong colours and shapes.
