QFO – Back in the sewing room again…

After several very busy months I have made it back to the sewing room for a bit of fun…

I won a pack of 5″ squares in a raffle which are nit a colour or style I would choose myself – so I have taken on the challenge of turning them ini something I like to be donated to our local community quilt program.

The quilt is proving quick and easy – a good way to ease back into some stitching.

About bertcollections

I began quilting, with the help of some friends, in 2005, and have been quilting ever since. In that time, I’ve completed several projects in a variety of styles and colour combinations. My approach to quilting generally doesn’t involve using a particular pattern. I tend to have a concept I want to bring to life, or find a fabric on sale somewhere that looks like it could be turned into something fun. As the photos in the 'Introductions' post show, my quilts cross a range of styles, but generally use some strong colours and shapes.

    I’m glad you’re back–I missed you!

    • Thanks. It was so nice to get some stitching time in. Hopefully I will get some quilting done this weekend as the weather is going to be great for staying inside 🙂
